Adventurer Khoo Swee Chiow braved a raging blizzard and is currently just three days away from reaching the North Pole.
The Hitachi Extreme North Expedition team reached the final degree to the North Pole when they crossed the 89° mark on Day 40 (30 April 2002, Singapore time).
Adventurer Khoo Swee Chiow will be seven days ahead of his original schedule despite the delay before the start of trek.
