Managing Asia: Asia Builders

In an inaugural Managing Asia event on October 3, the first of two "Asia Builders" series was delivered with a live-shoot of events held at the Marina Bay Sands (MBS). This was done with the intent of being the convergent point for dynamic discussions between renowned architects, business leaders and experts shaping our cities. This multi-platform campaign was a regional sponsorship between CNBC and Hitachi entitled "Asia Builders", which was recorded through the on-ground event in front of a LIVE audience for the first time and broadcasted in two-parts on October 17 and 24 across CNBC's TV and digital platforms. The on-ground event attracted a total of 140 participants with more than half being C-level executives, and nearly 85% from the senior level management. Additionally, Hitachi's sponsorship included promotions that ran on CNBC Asia Pacific and digital entitlements on CNBC.com...

Themed Water Solutions for Liveable and Sustainable Cities, the Water Expo of Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2012 was held from 2 – 4 July 2012 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Marina Bay Sands. Urban Sustainability R&D Congress 2011

Focused on the theme, Collaborate, Integrate, Innovate, Urban Sustainability R&D Congress 2011 is a new national platform to discuss key state challenges in urban sustainability and to encourage a rich exchange of ideas for a better Singapore city. The Guest-of-Honour for the Congress was Minister Tan Chuan-Jin, Minister of State for National Development and Manpower. About 1,300 delegates from government bodies, non-governmental organizations and research institutes attended the event. Singapore International Water Week 2011

Themed "Sustainable Water Solutions for a Changing Urban Environment", the Singapore International Water Week 2011 (SIWW 2011), held from 4 to 8 July 2011, was a successful industry platform for solutions-providers to address the latest and most pertinent water issues amidst a rapidly changing world. Japan Green Innovation Exhibition Series 1: Smart City by Hitachi

On 20 November 2010, Hitachi Asia Ltd. launched the "Smart City by Hitachi" exhibition at the Japan Creative Centre (JCC). The Hitachi Eco Conference 2010 is a platform for notable local, regional and international experts to present perspectives on solutions for a sustainable environment.
