Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, February 20, 2020 – Hitachi Elevator Vietnam Co., Ltd. (“Hitachi Elevator Vietnam”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501, “Hitachi”), announced that its new office, located on the 12th floor of Lim Tower III (29A Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Da Kao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) was expanded to meet the development requirement of the business.

The new office is designed with open working spaces and multiple functional areas to maximize the productivity of employees, pursuing the “smart office” concept. The main entrance to the office takes the idea of the elevator’s door: customers and employees entering or leaving the company must press the “call button” just like using the elevator.

Employees have their own space for entertainment after working hours so as to increase the interconnection between departments and stimulate their creativity. There is also a customer “Call Center” so that we can effectively acknowledge and respond to customer requests and inquiries.

With over 90 years of experience in the field of elevators and escalators, Hitachi representatives said the building and development of a high-quality technician team plays a crucial role for business. Therefore, when expanding the scale of the office, the company created a dedicated space for employee training.

In addition, a display area for materials and sample equipment is a unique feature for the new office. Customers are able to see and experience for themselves the various Hitachi products and services available.

In spite of the recent presence in Vietnam, for just more than three years, the business results have shown that Hitachi is one of the leading companies in the elevator and escalator market in Vietnam. Hitachi is the supplier of elevators and escalators for big projects such as Vinhomes Central Park blocks 4, 5, 6 (Ho Chi Minh City); Empire City – Tilia Residence (Ho Chi Minh City); UOA office building in district 7 (Ho Chi Minh City); Kingdom 101 apartment (Ho Chi Minh City), The Arena Cam Ranh luxury resort (Khanh Hoa Province), etc. In particular, Hitachi Elevator Vietnam is the provider of elevator systems with an intelligent destination control feature, the Destination Floor Reservation System (DFRS). It is one of the best vertical traffic optimization solutions for modern office buildings today, and it is also used in the new office building.

Moving forward, Hitachi will continue to utilize cutting-edge digital technology broadly to develop products and services and globally provide safe, secure and comfortable elevators and escalators as well as services that help resolve customers’ various issues in urban spaces to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
