The annual Christmas Light-Up (CLU) @ Orchard 2011 returned for the 28th year in 2011, transforming Orchard Road into a splendid garden of flowers blooming in the tropics from 19 November 2011 to 2 January 2012. Awarded the Top 10 Frommers World's Best Holiday Lights in 2010, Orchard Road came back with a new theme – Christmas Blooms in Singapore. The theme for this year's Christmas Light-up celebrated Singapore's famous identity as a Garden City. Visitors walking down the streets of Orchard Road would be greeted by thousands of glowing blue flowers. Japan Green Innovation Exhibition Series 1: Smart City by Hitachi

On 20 November 2010, Hitachi Asia Ltd. launched the "Smart City by Hitachi" exhibition at the Japan Creative Centre (JCC). Hitachi to Launch Elevator and Escalator Regional HQ in Singapore for Southeast Asia, India and the Middle East

Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE:HIT/TSE:6501) today announced that Hitachi Elevator Engineering (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (HEES), a company that manufactures, sells and provides services for elevators and escalators in Republic of Singapore (Singapore), will be renamed Hitachi Elevator Asia Pte. Ltd. (HEA) and begin operations as a regional HQ for the Hitachi Group's elevator and escalator business in Southeast Asia *1, India and the Middle East *2 on October 1 this year.

Eco Conference 2010

The Hitachi Eco Conference 2010 is a platform for notable local, regional and international experts to present perspectives on solutions for a sustainable environment.
