Hitachi in Singapore

Be the Voice That Shapes What’s next

In its 18th run, The Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative (HYLI) 2026 once again becomes a launchpad for Asia’s brightest students to make their mark on the future. From May 24–29, 2026 in Cebu, Philippines, HYLI will gather outstanding delegates from 8 Asian countries: Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Japan. These delegates will engage in powerful conversations with their peers, leaders in government, business, academia, and beyond.

This year’s theme, “FLOW AS ONE: What’s next for a sustainable future?” is a call to unite, innovate, and create solutions for the region’s most pressing challenges, inspired by Sustainable Goals 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and 14 (Life Below Water).

Delegates will experience expert-led forums, immersive field visits, interactive workshops, and cultural exchanges — all culminating in collaborative presentations before a distinguished panel of leaders.
