On 12th and 13th November 2024, Hitachi employees gathered for the latest Town Hall Meetings, held in Singapore and Thailand respectively. These two days marked an inspiring opportunity to align goals and celebrate the great achievements over the year. Themed “Hitachi’s Transformation Journey”, the Town Hall Meetings offered a powerful platform for Hitachi’s top management to share key insights on what’s to come for the company.

The highlight of the Town Hall Meetings was a keynote presentation by President and CEO of Hitachi Ltd., Dr. Keiji Kojima, who took the stage to offer an inspiring look into the past, present, and future of Hitachi. Addressing employees in both Singapore and Thailand, Dr. Kojima shared key updates on current market trends and explored Hitachi’s transformation, from the early stages of recovery to areas and strategies for future growth. Dr. Kojima’s insights on Hitachi’s transformation left everyone motivated and engaged, sparking a renewed sense of purpose.

The Town Hall Meetings also had an interactive Panel Q&A segment, where employees had the chance to connect and voice their thoughts directly with top management – Dr. Keiji Kojima, and Mr. Kojin Nakakita, Chairman of Hitachi Asia Ltd. As always, it was encouraging to see everyone actively engaged, reinforcing the One Hitachi culture that drives Hitachi forward.

Mr. Nakakita concluded the Town Hall Meetings with a closing speech, emphasising the importance of 'aiming high' and setting ambitious goals. Drawing a parallel to sports - where strategy, endurance, speed, and power must all align for success - he urged colleagues to continue pursuing their goals with the same commitment and to openly share any ideas and concerns they might have.
