Hitachi’s Idea Contest “Make a Difference!” is Now Calling for New Ideas!

Hitachi believes that changing the awareness of each employee is necessary for achieving the corporate reforms needed to uphold our medium-to-long term vision. Therefore in FY2015, the “Make a Difference!” idea contest was conceived around the theme of the “I will” mindset for all employees to participate in. Since then, more than 2,700 ideas have been submitted, and there were several ideas that have been realised or commercialised.

For FY2022, the theme is "Digital, Green, and Innovations”, which are central to Hitachi's growth (other themes may also apply).

We are looking for ideas that:

• are free from conventional frameworks that will bring us closer to our goal of creating a sustainable society.
• resolve social issues on a global scale that can also provide new value to our customers.
• seek to improve job processes that may boost the wellbeing of Hitachi employees.

Multiple entries are welcome so please send in your ideas!
