Hitachi to Provide Relief Assistance for the Recovery from Typhoon Sendong in the Philippines

Tokyo, Japan, December 29, 2011 – Hitachi, Ltd. today announced the decision of the Hitachi Group to provide relief assistance with a total value of 1 million peso to aid the victims of Typhoon Sendong that hit the Southern Philippines, and to assist in recovery efforts in the affected regions.

Hitachi expresses deep condolences for the victims of the typhoon and sincerely hopes for the earliest recovery of the people and areas in the Philippines that have been affected by the disaster.
